Is there a problem if I select the option of direct deposit for my refund and select the option for savings account but entered my checking account?

No. As long as the routing number and account number are for an open account listed in your name, everything is okay. The IRS will deposit the refund into the account that matches the routing and account number you provided.

Would I have to call my bank to let them know I accidentally checked savings instead of checking. But all my bank information is correct.

No. Your refund will be deposited into your savings account instead of checking. There is no way of changing that at this point.
