Is the 1040X the form I need to use to update my taxes since new tax credits and unemployment tax laws changed?

I already filed my 2020 taxes and see that new laws or credits are being changed. Just want to update the races properly.

The IRS says you should NOT file a Form 1040-X amended return at this time. Wait until the IRS provides instructions for what to do if you have already filed.

Wait until the program is updated to include the new tax changes. The IRS will issue instructions in the future but date is unknown.
