Is my return the same as what turbotax says or does it get garnished before i receive it

TurboTax can only calculate the amount of a refund based on (1) existing tax laws and regulations and (2) the information you enter into our software.

If you have outstanding federal or state financial obligations, those are unknown to TurboTax. Any offsets that result from unpaid taxes, student loan obligations, child support arrearages or similar obligations will result in your refund being smaller than that calculated by TurboTax.
