Is it to late to amend my tax question in order for my mom to file me. I check the wrong box

It is not too late to amend your return to make that change, but it is too late to amend your return so that you mom can file her return claiming you by the tax deadline.

Your amended return will need to be filed by mail (as all amended returns are filed by mail) and it will take several weeks to process the change.  You mom may want to go ahead and file her return, then you both can amend and mail the amended returns together so that they can be processed together to make the change.
