Each option is a separate way to receive your refund provided by the IRS and TurboTax.
The refund check is a paper check mailed by the IRS.
Direct Deposit is when you provide your bank routing and account number to the IRS for electronic payment directly to your bank account.
The TurboTax Prepaid Visa is when the IRS sends the funds electronically to a bank account attached to the Visa card.
A split refund is a procedure that allows you to receive different amounts of the refund into different financial institutions in which you would also supply the routing and account numbers.
Will the stimulus checks be deposited on the visa card that some people have through turbotax?
That is what you, myself and hundreds of thousands of other people are all wondering when it comes to that turbo tax card. I know that in the dashboard it has a routing number, account # etc. but still not sure if its considered "direct deposit". The thing I worry about is the fees. When you normally do it they charge a fee to send to the card. I do not see turbo tax just automatically eating those fee's if thats the case. I will say tho that friends that had normal direct desposit starting getting theirs this past tuesday. I am trying to find someone that
A. had the turbo tax card
AND
B. GOT the stimulus payment already.
So if you have send me a message 🙂
