Yes, it is possible.
Tax laws have change a lot from Tax Year 2017 to Tax Year 2018 and have impacted different taxpayers differently.
Tax computations are complex. That's why you use TurboTax. The Standard Deduction has increased significantly, but the personal exemption has been suspended.
As a very broad generalization, if you never claimed dependents, and you usually took the standard deduction, you could earn more in tax year 2018 and have a lower tax liability.
