Irs is saying they have not received anything on my federal from 2020 from TurboTax. TurboTax says it was accepted almost 5 weeks ago!? Can I speak to anyone???

I've tried calling TurboTax for a few days now. I never get through to anyone! Is this a scam?

It is not a scam.  Once TT tells you that the IRS has Accepted your return for processing, then government has it, and TT receives no further updates.  The IRS is seriously backlogged due to all the extra stimulus filings,  ongoing tax law changes, and several million unprocessed  2019 returns left over from the COVID shutdown.  In addition, the Where's My Refund site has been erratic and unreliable.  Lots of folks are waiting, so please continue to be patient.

The IRS said they did not receive my tax filings NOT that they are busy but that they have nothing on file from TurboTax this year.
