IRS cashed out my check on 07/18/2020 but today, 11/23/2011 my 2019 tax return shown not processed

IRS cashed out my check  I owned $16422 on 2019  tax  return I mailed (certified) out on 07/13/2020 .   My bank shown they cashed on 07/18/2020 .   I am nervous and worry because in my IRS account on Nov 23 2020  it said 2019 tax return has not processed and did not mention it has received my payment of $16422. I am worry and nervous and don't know what to do !  Please advice . Thanks .

Don't be worried ... when the envelope was opened the check went to one department to be deposited and the return to another to be processed.  Due to the earlier covid shut down and continued reduced staffing the IRS concentrated on sending out stimulus checks and returns with refunds first and put returns with balance dues on the back burner.  Your return is just sitting in a big pile waiting it's turn.  At least you know it did arrive and they will get to it eventually.
