In a case if taxes are due and a payment was made, how do we track the payment status? The same case where an extension has been approved.

Thanks for the response, got the extension approved. However, is there anyway to know if the payment information has been sent by Turbotax to IRS? Alternatively, any way to check on the IRS side, if they received payment information from Turbotax? 

Checking account status may be the last resort as it may take some time.
