If you insert one incorrect number do direct deposit on the account number, how can I fix that or what can I do? Yes it’s been accepted.

the ACH transfer by the IRS should be rejected by the bank for non-matching info like your name.   the IRS will eventually send out a check to the address on the return.  expect it in 6 to 8 weeks but no guarantee since the IRS is still dealing with the pandemic, changes to the tax laws, new forms and an antiquated computer system.

Also, if you chose to pay any TurboTax fees out of your Federal refund, your direct deposit (of a Federal refund) would normally come from an intermediary bank, which receives the money from the IRS then subtracts the fees before sending the rest on to your bank account (or card).   So if you DID use that payment method, and if a deposit from the intermediary bank to your bank account fails, it would go back to the intermediary bank.  That process is handled by SBTPG (Tax Products Group), who would then mail you a paper check in the mail.  In some less-common circumstances, SBTPG returns it to the IRS.
