I amended my tax form but have yet to receive the second part of my federal refund.

I changed my form so that it did not say I was dependent on my mom.  Because of this I was supposed to receive double the money on my federal tax return.  I have still only received the first half of that money.

If you have filed an amended return, the IRS will take between 12 to 16 weeks to process the amended return.

You will receive your second refund after the IRS has processed your return.
