If you have already filed your tax return you would first need to wait and see if your tax return is accepted or rejected. If rejected, you can go back and make the correction following the steps below. If your tax return is accepted then you will be fine. You just want to make sure you enter the correct date of birth for him on next year's tax return.

If you have not yet filed your tax return you can Sign into your Online account and click the orange button that says "Take me to my return."  Next go to Personal Info at the top and scroll down to where your son is listed as a dependent and select edit. Continue through the screens and correct the Date of Birth. Continue through the section until you are done.
