If there was a tax form missing at the time of processing but it was not e-filed or mailed in yet, is an "amend" the best way to add the form? Can I redo the whole thing?

The form I need to add is my second W-2 since i changed jobs mid year. The numbers are changing and the site is not being clear on what I am being refunded or need to pay.

If you have not mailed or e-filed your return, do not Amend your return. You want to add the W-2 to your existing return.

Is this still the case if i have a return status of "Printed"? I can't seem to get to find where to access my W-2 section

If you can't get in to your return after logging in, try clicking on "Add a state".  You won't actually add a state, but it gets you in to the return, then Search for "W-2".
