If the stimulus comes via direct deposit like they are saying, and I got my direct deposit via turbo tax cause I paid for the service via my refund, how does that work?

The questions about “stimulus checks” are beginning after a press conference that just happened on 3-17-2020.   So far this is a proposal that has not been finalized or voted on by Congress.  Please be patient until there is actual information to provide to you.  We cannot tell you if you will get a check, when you will get a check or how much it will be for.  No one knows yet.

It passed and official now. What is the answer to the original question?

I guess  it’s not so much for a member as it would be for an employee. Sorry if it’s too direct.

But I cannot be the only one in this boat. So it would be good to have a definitive answer.

It would also be nice if users did not expect us to have all of those answers within only hours of the bill being signed by the President.  Although you are anxious to know---can you try to be a little more patient until the facts of how the program is going to work are made known?

Apologies. Anxious wouldn’t be strong enough a word. And I am sure there are people much more in need then I am.

I didn’t mean to push that hard I just am hearing it will be direct deposit in the news several times. This information is circulating. But this question is very specific. I appreciate you responding with all the information. And I will monitor for my answer with Intuit’s response.

again thanks!
