When printing my CT return, a form 8801 printed. Not sure what I do with it, and what it exactly is as I had no alternative minimum tax last year.

You use this form if you had a carryover credit from previous years, not just last year..
I'm doing my 2019 taxes and I have the same problem. CT Form 8801 is 4 pages of totally random numbers that come from nowhere! Line 1 of Part 1 references line 4 of federal form 8801. There is no federal form 8801 in my 2019 return. What does this affect?
Have you been able to resolve this?
I am having the same issue that TurboTax populates CT 8801 and references the federal 8801. This is the 2nd year in a row. Why would this be?
Thanks
@Mwgreenfield IRS Form 8801 is for the Credit for Prior Year Minimum Tax— Individuals, Estates, and Trusts.
