A spouse is never the dependent of another spouse. 

If you and your husband filed as married filing jointly then you have filed your tax return. Your income should have been reported on that tax return. You do not file a separate return. If your return has already been accepted by the IRS, then you will need to file an amended return to add your income.

Once the original return has been processed, follow the directions below to file an amended return.
