If my amended return hasn't processed from last year, should I have put 0 income for 2021? How does this affect this year's refund?

I filed Jan 19th, but the irs tool still says received and processing.

Entering a 0 (zero) for the 2020 AGI so that you could e-file the 2021 tax return has no effect whatsoever on a 2021 tax refund.

The 2020 AGI is only used as your electronic signature for e-filing.

you need to use the AGI off the original 2020 filing not the amended return. if that doesn't work try 0 (zero) but if both don't work you'll have to mail in your return.
