If I want to add my State tax filing after I filed my Federal, how can I do that?

I opted NOT to file my State taxes through Turbo Tax but now I want to but already submitted my Federal return.

You can go back and file the State return after filing the Federal.  You can't efile the State by itself, however, until the Federal has been accepted.

• You can log in and go to your 2016 Tax Timeline.  Scroll down to "Some things you can do" and click "Add a State."
• Then once the return is open you can go to the State Taxes tab to complete your state return.
