If I hit the amend button changed a few things but never saved the changes and exit the site and log back in will my original information still apply still says accepted?

Simply beginning the amendment process in TurboTax Online will not amend your return. You cannot e-file an amended return.  They have to be mailed. So if you did not complete the amendment and mail in your amended return it has not been filed and has not impacted your original return at all.
