It takes the IRS about four months to process an amended return even in "normal" times. During the pandemic it is taking much longer than normal. It is not clear from your post whether you are still waiting for your original federal refund or if you are asking when you will get the refund from the amended return.
And....the IRS did not want amended returns for the new laws pertaining to unemployment because they are adjusting refunds for people who had tax withheld from unemployment.

Thanks for the reply.
I did not amend my return because of the new legislation. I received some W-2s after I filed that I did not realize were coming and so I had to amend it.
I guess I have delayed things quite a bit for myself.
Your 1040 return will be processed separately.
If you filed in January, but did not get your refund, something is holding up your Form 1040 tax return.
