When filing a joint tax return, since both your spouses and your income would be reported, there would only be one refund. However, if you accidentally filed a joint tax return with only your information, then you would want to amend the tax return to add your spouses income and tax documents.

First, you will want to wait until your tax return is accepted or rejected. If it is rejected, then you can go in and fix the mistake. If accepted, then you will want to wait until your original tax return is processed by the IRS. If you are receiving a refund, you should wait until the check is issued. Amended returns must be filed by mail.

To amend a 2017 return, follow the steps in the article below:

So wait... I used turbo tax and said I was filing jointly with my husband. It allowed me to continue filing... the only info I included was my husband’s adjusted gross income from 2016 and his social security.
My return has been accepted.
I just wonder if I get my check before he files his...
what I’m gathering from your answers is that they will combine our refund checks? and that I will have to wait until his taxes are filed to receive mine?

He can not file his own return now.  Joint is one return combined for the both of you.  You need to amend the Joint return to add his info to it.  Yes wait to amend until you get your check.
