If i accidentally filed for 2023 how do I refile for 2022

Please explain more.  Right now we are doing 2022 returns for the year ended on Dec 31, 2022.  We don't do 2023 until next year in 2024.  Do you need to amend your 2021 return you did last year (in 2022)?

not possible with online since there are no 2023 forms yet. look at page 1 of the 1040  - top of the page in the middle. what year is there?  or are you saying you included some 2023 info on your 2022 return? in that case, the return might be rejected so you can fix and refile. otherwise, you'll have to wait until it's fully processed and then amend
