If I accidentally chose to mail instead of E-file is there anyway I can change it after it’s submitted?

If it is rejected you can change and mail it---not sure why you would want to do that.   If you already e-filed and the IRS accepts the return, then you have filed and cannot change how you filed it.

Did you already print and mail it?   Submitted should mean you efiled it.

If you haven’t mailed it yet,  You can try to switch to efile.   Click on Add a State to let you back into your retun.  Do not click on Amend!

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them.  You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places.  Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.

And....if you already mailed your return, and then you turn around and e-file it too, you will just create confusion and delay by sending the same return twice.
