That can happen, but you'd have to ask your employer's payroll dept what the difference is. Sometimes certain taxes/withholding/pre-tax or post-tax deductions might be lumped together on a paystub, and broken out in the proper detail needed to file a tax return on the final W-2. (Tip entries can also vary as to how the employer displays them)
It's also why you NEVER file a tax return using a paystub.
That's very common. Do not use your paystub to fill out the W2. You need to use the actual W2. Your paystub won't match the W2. There are several items that affect the amounts. Most people that use the paystub have to send in an Amended return later.
