I wish to make an additional contribution to my 2018 hsa and cannot find where I can add the additional amount to modify the filing amount to reflect the entire contribution.

The 1099-SA does not report contributions, it reports on your distributions from your HSA.
Your contributions are shown either on your W-2 in box 12 with a code of W, or by your entry on the "Let's enter [name]'s HSA contributions" screen (see screenshot below) on the second line where it refers to contributions that you personally made.
You will place your just-before-April-15th contribution on this second line (or add it to any amount that is already there).
NOTE: be sure to make sure that the HSA custodian understands that this is a contribution for the previous year, as their default is to make it for the current tax year.
