I went to track my refund last thursday and it was stated to be sent to my account by the 18th. I just check it again and it stated that the refund was applied elsewhere

I want to understand where my refund is, first it says it would be in my account no later than the 18th and now it’s saying that the federal government applied it to something else. Which onen is it?
