If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return and start over. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2022 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.
I have already made it to that point the only reason I noticed was it asked me about my 2021 taxes to use E-file
@culdren Do NOT e-file that tax return since it will be all wrong. Stop. Go back to Federal>Wages & Income and delete the incorrect W-2, then replace it by entering your 2022 W-2. While you are at it, I suggest double-checking any other information you have entered, then you can e-file. Your 2021 AGI will be found on line 11 of your 2021 Form 1040 (not on your W-2). If you are not able to e-file using the amount on line 11, try using zero. If zero does not work, then print, sign and mail the tax return.
