I was told when filing with TurboTax that they normally send the state s d federal tax refund together. Just wondering if it's true and if not how long does it take for the state taxes to be refunded.

State and federal refunds come from two completely separate entities so they seldom arrive at the same time. Just beaus you e-file them at the same time it does not mean they will be processed and approved in the same amount of time.
