I was told I needed to file my return as a paper return. How do I print my return, so I can make the necessary changes manually?

Please follow the instructions below to elect to mail your return:

1. Open your return and select File.
2. Select Continue next to Step 3.
3. On the We've determined the easiest way to file your taxes screen, select Change.
   • You may see a Let's get ready to e-file screen instead. If so, select File by mail.
4. On the Change filing method screen, select File by mail, then Save.
5. On the Now, it's time to download and print your return screen, select Download.
6. Print your return and drop it in the mailbox.
