I was told I did not report my unemployment on my state tax, which was download from federal which it was reported. Do I refile or check for the mistake or what?

Go back through your state return to make sure it was reported on there. If it wasn't you can file an amended return to report it: https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3288565

If it is there, I would print a copy of the return out and contact your states department of revenue and speak to someone there stating that you show it was reported and ask them how they would like the issue resolved.
