If you're on the TurboTax Online homepage (yellow menu), select the option on the right-hand side for Still need time to file? This will bring you to the Easy Extension page. Or click this link.

From the grey Easy Extension homepage, there are 2 buttons at the bottom of the page, select the left button Download your Federal Extension.
