As long as you have not submitted payment, deducted the TurboTax fee from your refund, or registered, you can erase your tax return in TurboTax. Please see this TurboTax FAQ:https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/4248526

I need to cancel this service. My husband set it up and he has passed away. ALSO, I haven’t received my tax refund for 2019. It was mailed in early July because when I and my son submitted it on line the IRS said there was an error somewhere. ?????? Please respond.

Did you get charged for the Advantage auto renew Desktop program? You can sign into your Turbo Tax Advantage account and under Your Product, select to Remove Product. Once you remove the recurring product order, the Turbo Tax Advantage subscription will be cancelled as well.
How to cancel Turbo Tax Advantage
You can try to get a refund, submit an online refund request within 60 days of receipt here, https://support.turbotax.intuit.com/forms/refund-request.jsp
Or Call in for a refund. When you fill out the from use the word BILLING ISSUES instead of the word “refund.” Contact Customer Service

Sorry the IRS has limited staff due to Covid-19. They didn't start opening the mail until June that's been stacking up. Back in March the IRS closed their processing centers and stopped processing mailed tax returns. An IRS spokesperson said that they have about 11 million pieces of unopened mail. The IRS says....."We’re experiencing delays in processing paper tax returns due to limited staffing. If you already filed a paper return, we will process it in the order we received it." So it may take longer if you mailed in June or later. So you have to keep waiting.
