I've done tax returns for several family members (college kiddos). How do I delete one person's info without impacting anyone else's return information?

The tax returns are tied to the same email address but have different user IDs and passwords.

Not sure why you are wanting to delete anyone....what are you doing?

 

 

When you use Online TurboTax, you get one return per fee.  Each return needs its own account and user ID.   If you use the same account and user ID for a second return, you overwrite the first one and lose it forever.

 When you use Desktop TurboTax, which you install from a CD or download to your own hard drive, you can prepare and e-file multiple returns for the cost of the software.  You can e-file up to 5 Federal returns—more if you mail the additional ones.  If you have multiple returns to prepare for family members, Desktop is more cost effective.

Each person's return has a separate user ID and password. They are just all under one email address. I am trying to just delete one particular individual's info out of TurboTax so that I don't have access to their info anymore...if that makes sense.

Unfortunately, once a TurboTax account is created, it cannot be deleted. 

 

In your case, you can just choose to abandon the account.  Or, you could change the email for the account so that the owner would still have access.

 

You may also be able to erase the data in the return if it hasn't been submitted yet: How do I clear and start over?
