TurboTax knows nothing about the status of your refund, nor does it get your refund to take out its fees and any advance you received. Your refund goes to a third-party bank to be split between you and TurboTax. It is then supposed to forward on your portion based on your directions for deposit.
If you made a mistake on your routing or account number, the deposit was rejected, Cross River would receive it back and an paper check would be mailed to you.
Try calling Intuit using this number, 800-335-9612, and see if they can help you.
NO! This issue (MY REFUND) has not been resolved!
It seems YOU (INTUIT turbo tax) plus CROSS CITY BANK continuously keep giving me the run around. I call Turbo Tax, Corss City bank, where IRS says MY refund was sent yet BOTH your agencies produce NO resolution.
MY refund has been in someone's pocket, bank account, reserves for well over a year, and yet I am continuously told I will have to pay for choosing a RAPID REFUND. My refund IS NOT growing interest, yet I'm still going to be charged!
I think it's now time to get OTHER PARTIES local political congresswomen/men OR legal tax advisors .

i am in the same exact situation. My bank routing and account numbers are verified accurate. Turbo Tax is at fault as they partnered with Cross River Bank, not me. My refund was issued weeks ago by Federal IRS. Cross River bank apparently has my money!!!
WTF is going on!!
Stop telling people that their bank is rejecting the funds. Stop lying. Cross river bank and turbo tax are holding your money. People please stop falling for the b.s. Get an attorney, record all conversations with both entities. They have the funds and using the " rejected " excuse to hold on to your money longer. Send your concerns to the news media outlet people.
I am in the same boat. I have since reach out to an attorney because turbo tax or cross river bank can not tell me anything. Only that my money is being held at cross river bank. Every representative I've spoken with was unless and lacked any information. Each one has a different answer and blames each other. They just lost a customer!
