You’ll receive your Refund Advance virtual card info within 1 hour of the IRS accepting your e-filed return, by email. The funds will be loaded on to the card within 48 hours. Any balance of your tax refund remaining will be sent to you after the IRS has accepted and processed your tax return, usually within 21 days. You’ll be able to start spending online with your card information after setting up your Turbo Card account.

Also, a physical Turbo Card will be mailed to you within 5 to 10 business days. The remainder of your refund (minus the Refund Advance amount and any TurboTax fees) will be loaded onto the card when the IRS or state tax authorities distribute your refund (typically within 21 days from IRS acceptance).

My return has been accepted on the IRS side, but not updated in Turbo Tax, when will everything update?

Is it the same for this year? We will get our refund advance funds within 48 hours of acceptance from the IRS?

I was approved for $1,500 and filed and my return was accepted at 8:35PM EST and it is now 10:06AM EST and I have not received no funds yet.

I see some people waited only minutes to get their funds so is it normal for some of us to have to wait over 12+ hours and counting.

I didn’t get no email saying I was denied for the loan.

Typically, refund advances are issued within 1 hour of the IRS accepting your return. For more details, please click here. Also, please be sure you followed all steps for the refund advance here.

@BrandiLO1 There are many threads on here from users who have been waiting 12 hours or more for their Advances after IRS acceptance of their efilings. Other TT personnel have quoted 48 hours (not 1-2 hrs.). Can you clarify?

Exactly!! We all been waiting well over 12 hours?! So we’re not in the typically “1 hour” group. So your 48 hour question is what I want answered too 👍🏽

Yeah we were approved for 2500$ according to TT upon doing my refund, and I got the email to set up the spend account on KK and did that and my return was accepted around 5 or 6 but still haven't received advance. Never got an email confirming or denying me for approval after TT said I was approved? So what's the Outlook?
