If your tax returns say, "Ready to mail," it means that you either chose to file your return by mail instead of the E-file option or your tax return is not eligible for E-filing.
If you chose the File by Mail option by mistake, you can switch to E-file by following the steps in the TurboTax FAQ below:
Please see the TurboTax FAQ below on how to print and file your tax return by mail. If you are unsure why you are unable to E-file your return you can click on the following link for reasons why you may be unable to E-file: https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1901497
