I used turbo tax for the first time and am curious about the status of my return. The turbo tax website says "ready to mail" and also says "printed" what's that mean?

If your tax returns say, "Ready to mail," it means that you either chose to file your return by mail instead of the E-file option or your tax return is not eligible for E-filing. 

If you chose the File by Mail option by mistake, you can switch to E-file by following the steps in the TurboTax FAQ below:
