I unintentionally amended my 2016 taxes. I did not send the amended files to the IRS and have no intention of doing so. How can I delete the amended version from TurboTax?

Well Online is closed for 2016 and before.  So you can't delete the amended return.  What is different in it from the original return?  If you transfer it into 2017 it might not affect 2017 or it might.  So you might want to start 2017 in a new account and not transfer from 2016.

 The amended return overwrote your original return.  There is a way to fix it but it is a hassle.  You would need to download the 2016 program and your 2016 return file endind in .tax2016.  You need a full Windows or Mac computer to install the program.
