I tried to pay my state taxes by directly debiting from my bank account. I chose 02/04/2020 ,and money has not taken out, and I cant finish filing. What should I do?

What error message are you getting that is preventing you from finishing your tax return?

I’m not getting an error message. After I put in the date I want the money to be taken out of my account, and the date passes by, it reverts back to wanting me to put in another date for the money to be taken out. And the mid y has yet to be debited from my account. Therefore I cannot finish filing my state taxes.

In order to finish filing your taxes, please try to pick a date farther out. Picking a date too close to your efiling date does not allow enough time for the return to be accepted and the payment to process.
