I think I messed up on my taxes

When I went to file I wasn’t sure I got the last stimulus check but I just checked in my bank account and it showed I did get it. So was trying to fix that mistake. What should I do now to fix this mistake?

If you have filed the 2021 federal tax return the IRS knows that you were sent the stimulus payment.  They will adjust your 2021 tax return accordingly.  If you are still owed a tax refund the refund will be delayed for several weeks or longer.

There is no need to amend the 2021 tax return that was filed.

If you wrongly reported the amount of the third stimulus that you received, the IRS will detect that error when they check with their records and will adjust your refund (or tax due). If you have a  refund, it will be delayed.
