Your date of payment stays valid. It may take the IRS up to 10 days to debit your account during this time of the tax season.
If you submitted your taxes and set yesterday as the day to pull the money from your account, no, you do not need to submit anything else. Sometimes things take a few days to process.
Thank you. I just don't want to pay them any more than I have to!
Thanks. My state got right on it, but the IRS is taking longer. Appreciate the response.
I used April 13th to pull the money and it has still not gone, so maybe they are taking their time in pulling the money.
Does anyone know how to check the payment date to confirm it is when I think it is? I cannot seem to locate it in TurboTax. Thanks!
The bank information and the date selected for payment will be on the Filing Instructions for your tax return and it will be on the Federal Information Worksheet in Part V of the worksheet. You will need to use Print Center and the option for all worksheets when download the PDF of your tax return.
To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.
This will take you back to the 2025 online tax return.
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets
If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
See the following TurboTax help article to learn more about the processing times for payments to the IRS:
When will my tax payment go through?
TurboThe Tax desktop will not allow you to view any information about your payment instructions, including the date and/or bank information. A tremendous failure on the software's part, IMHO.
If you have your summary sheet (first page when you print your return), you can see the information there.
Thank you for everyone's response. I guess I will sit, wait, and watch.
