I submitted electronically but I need to mail a check for my federal return. I'd like to print a copy of my accepted federal return to put with the check, can't find it.

My Federal return isn't ready for download but I'd like to include a copy with my check I'm sending in.  It was accepted.

A copy of the federal tax return is not to be sent to the address where you mail the payment voucher and your check.

You only need to mail the Payment Voucher, Form 1040-V, and you check for payment to the address on printed on the voucher.

Thanks, but where do I find the 1040-V, the voucher to put with my check.  My return when I open it says do not file.  I don't see a voucher at the end of the doc, but the quarterly vouchers at the front which are for going forward.  Is my return not completely  done yet, I did get an email that said accepted.

Use this procedure to view/print/download a complete copy of your return.  It should not have any watermarks on the forms/schedules.  If you requested to pay the federal taxes owed with a check then the Form 1040-V should be included in this copy.  If not please post back.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state. 

This will take you back to the 2021 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.  Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets

If you filed you should be able to download and print a copy of your whole return.   Are you sure you have a tax due?  Did you pay the fees with a credit card?  Maybe you set it up to pay by Direct Debit and not check?
