My refund for 2015 has been "processing" since March and it's December.

You might try contacting IRS' Taxpayer Advocate's Office. I've found them helpful on amended returns. They work through the mail and aren't a quick fix, but they do resolve problems. Their contact information is here: http://www.irs.gov/Advocate/Local-Taxpayer-Advocate
