I started my online return the other day, now I can't find it. What happened?

You must sign onto your online account with the exact User ID you used to create the account.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

Make sure you are signing in the correct account - you may have multiple accounts.   How can I view all my TurboTax accounts?

If you need extra time, filing an extension by April 15, 2026, moves your submission deadline to October 15. But remember any taxes owed are still due in full by the original April 15 date.
