I sent money to my wife using paypal goods & services. She sent money back the same way. How do we file the 1099k? We did not make any money. It was our money.

When you report the 1099-k you will have the opportunity to exclude personal amounts from being taxed.

As Bsch4477 said, when you enter your 1099-K in TurboTax, you can exclude the payments that were for personal things.  

To enter this in TurboTax:

1. Open your return
2. Go to 1099-K
3. Add a 1099-K
4. The next screen lets you select the type of income that your 1099-K is for, select the option that is closest to the income you received
5. Enter the information from your form and mark the box of This amount in box 1a is too high or includes some personal transactions
6. Enter the amount
