did you either deliberately or unknowingly ask for a deferral of payment of a portion of your self-employment taxes?  these returns must be processed manually by the IRS. It has a huge backlog of returns. all you can do is wait.  by the way if you asked for a deferral of a portion of your SE tax 50% is due 12/31/2021.  as of now the only way to pay this is through EFTPS and not Direct Pay.  to use the EFTPS you must be enrolled. then the IRS will send you a letter or e-mail with an access code. If this is your situation I would register now because there may be 100's of thousands of taxpayers applying at the last minute which could result in a late payment and perhaps a penalty.  https://www.eftps.gov/eftps/

Due to understaffing and over tasking the IRS is processing balance due returns LAST after returns with refunds, recalculating returns for mid season tax law changes and return errors, never ending stimulus payments and advance CTC payments.  So eventually your successfully filed and paid return will be processed and will show up in your transcripts ... check your account from time to time :    https://www.irs.gov/payments/view-your-tax-account

Also even though you had a balance due you can check on the return using the WMR? tool ... enter a zero for refund amount :    https://www.irs.gov/refunds
