I requested a debit card, my refund was sent to a checking account that is not mine. I never entered ANY bank account information! How was it changed and where did it go?

Did you request to have the TurboTax account fees paid with the federal tax refund?

Even cards use a bank account number and routing number.

Ok ... you asked for the TT fees to be withheld from the federal refund so the refund is sent to a temporary account set up for you at the Refund Processing Bank for this purpose ... that is the number you see.

The refund needs to go from the IRS to the third party bank to the card.  This process can take up to 3 business days or more.
