Yes, the IRS will seize your Tax Refund and credit the amount that is owed.

Notice- CP504 I just got off the phone with the IRS and I am pissed!!! Last year I filed and I had the ObamaCare the year before and that was some BS last year. So I was told I had a balance owed still and the IRS made that mistake they admitted to it. The amount that was on the 1095 for I got for the 2015 tax year was on my taxes I submitted all of the documents to them. Well they didn't do their job so basically I have to pay for the balance twice. Now they put a hold on my account until 2/21 so they can get this mess resolved. They said if it is not resolved by the 21st then they will take the balance out of my return and then finish processing it. This is BS at its finest. They said once its resolved they will then they will refund what they took out of my return. I am beyond PO. Have a good day everyone.
