After the IRS has accepted your return, refunds are usually issued within 21 days of that. The IRS has stated that they are not accepting e-filed returns until January 29, 2018. So if you file your return in TurboTax before January 29, we'll hold your return and submit it at that time.  When will the IRS start accepting e-filed returns?
