most likely the IRS reduced your refund. they should be sending you a notice explaining why. the two most common errors made by taxpayers are omitting the recovery rebate and the other is failing to report the advanced child credit. However, yours could be for a different reason and it's even possible the IRS made a mistake.
you can go on the IRS website to register to review your tax return transcript which should show what the IRS changed

or call 800-824-1040 - getting through can be a problem but if you do

@963f53651f9a calling the IRS is goijng to be fruitless. They don't answer 80% of their calls. Most everyone who posts on these boards about missing refunds has to do with either the child tax credit or the recovery rebate credit. If you post the following, we can quickly figure this out:
1) what is the EXACT amount of the missing refund?
2) what is on Line 30 of Form 1040?
3) what is on Line 28 of Form 1040?
