I received my 1099-C from a credit card after I filed my taxes. What do I need to do now?

I filed my taxes for 2018 several weeks ago and already received my refund for federal and paid what I owed to the state. I just received my 1099-C electronically today from the credit card company. What do I need to do?

You will need to amend to include what was forgotten.

You want to wait until the original return has completed processing before mailing in the amended return.
